John Scritchfield and the food service staff beat the record for the longest sub ever! The Sub measured 270 feet long beating the record by 16 feet! Plus, John and crew even built a mini vegan sub totaling 24 feet for the vegan folks. Plus, all proceeds going to the Springfield Mission to help feed homeless people. Here are the statistics for the record Sub: Total weight of over 500 lbs. -1200 slices of cheese -180 lbs of meat -175 tomatoes -50 lbs of lettuce -160 lbs of bread -20 lbs of sliced onion
